Rover Quintet, 1987 model
Bought for my wife. Was really a rebadged Honda. Well made but tinny like all Hondas. It had a horrible semi-automatic gear change and
self adjusting rear drum brakes that didn't self-adjust. However, my wife loved it.

Walkinshaw Group A Commodore, 1988 model
The most outrageous car I have ever bought but a hoot to drive. The first real racing engine in a Commodore and it won Bathurst.
It ate up tyres and clutches and I had to sell it when my license points hit 11.

BMW E36, 318i, 1990 model
Bought this new to replace the Walkinshaw Commodore and save my license. It was the most unreliable car I have ever owned.
Literally everything broke and it spent more time at the dealer that with me. I couldn't wait to get rid of it.

Honda Civic hatchback, 1990 model
Bought this for my wife and she loved it. One of the best Hondas ever made. Never a problem and fantastic to drive.

BMW E36, 318is, 1993 model
Great car, nothing like my previous 318i. A great looker and great to drive. One of BMW's best efforts. This one was
superbly well made and reliable. |
