Jeep Liberty Limited 3.7ltr, 2002 model
Bought when we moved to the USA in 2001. We simply loved this car. It was built really well, never failed us and was (surprisingly) a really enjoyable drive. I think it is one of the best Jeeps Jeep ever made. If I could find another still new one like this I would buy it instantly.

Jaguar X-Type 2.5ltr, 2004 model
The much maligned X-Type was actually a great little car. It drove and handled fantastically well. Being all wheel drive it was also super secure in bad weather. Great engine, steering and brakes as well as super comfortable.

Jaguar E-Type 2+2 4.2ltr, 1970 model
The love of my life (after my wife and kids naturally). I loved this car. Yes it required a lot of maintenance and it wasn't the most reliable car I have ever owned but when it purred it was magnificent. Once of the best engines ever made and one of the most beautiful cars ever made. Reluctantly sold it (for the same price I paid for it) when I moved to the USA. It is worth four times that now.

Jaguar S-Type 2.7ltr diesel, 2007 model
A wonderful looking, beautifully built and engineered car. Like most Jaguars, built like a tank. The diesel engine was a torque monster and it was a delight to drive both in town and long distances. The downside was the awful DPF and woeful Jaguar responses to the DPF problems. I was sorry to sell it because I loved it but the DPF problems were too big a worry after the warranty was up. I would never buy another diesel.

Ford Fiesta Zetec, 2012 model
Bought for my wife. It is really a great little car, it handles, brakes and steers like a star. The only issue has been lots and lots of trouble with the dual-clutch gear box and terrible Ford service. We have had the clutch replaced twice under warranty and extended warranty and the second one appears to be a big improvement. However, It is a great little car spoiled by a crappy gear box.
